Korea is the land of high standards when it gets to appearance and beauty. The beauty pageants in Korea can be super competitive as well. Miss Korea is the most prestigious beauty pageant in Korea which boasts a long history. While there might be criticisms against beauty pageants in the modern era with issues of objectification, extreme beauty standards, etc., Miss Korea is still very popular among many young women. In this episode we invite former and current Miss Korea winners and talk about the pageant and what they felt throughout the contest.
